Hello. I’m Andy.

 

Gulch Engineering, LLC is my company, a small (I'm the only one who works here) engineering and prototyping job shop. From design and analysis, to precision CNC milling, I can provide turn-key design/build solutions, or assist you with just one aspect of your project.
 

Previously, I spent 15 years as a tooling engineer in the aerospace industry. I gained a lot of experience on many interesting projects, but ultimately found that I was spending far too much time on the phone and in meetings, facing bureaucratic challenges when I would have much preferred to focus on technical ones. In December 2019, I set out on my own to refocus on the aspects of engineering that I'm passionate about: developing ideas, tackling problems, building in a vertically-integrated environment, and providing solutions to customers.

I have a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University and am a licensed PE in Washington State.
